Contest entry, Michelle Phan; "One Night Out"

This is my entry for Michelle Phan's contest: "Into the Night". Makeup: The shoes inspired me to use the color theme and print onto my eyes. I used my 120 Manly palette for my eyes. Foundation, mascara, eyelashes, etc. are all purchased from the local store. The colors I used for the look was; neon pink, dark pink, metallic silver, black and white. Clothing: All of my clothes are from a danish webshop called www.queeninyou.dk. I bought it on a huge sale, so I paid very little for it. I love cheap stuff! If you're not from Denmark, I don't know where you can buy something like it, I'm sorry. Rules: I'm over the allowed 18 years old, but I'm not from the United States. I'm from Denmark, a small country in Northern-Europe. Michelle Phan did write that it's not a necessity to be from the United States, since she was going to have the last word. I also made the video longer than 60 seconds, since she wrote it was also allowed. Music: Dj Tiësto feat. Kay -- Work Hard, Play Hard. The music is provided by Michelle Phan and SanDisk. We are allowed to use it as background music; I do not own this track nor do I have any kind of copyright on it.

NYC Fashion Week & FOOD

$10 per pair of Geo Contact Lens Cheapest in Global http://geosupplier.blogspot.com http://geosupplier.livejournal.com I'm always in NYC every month, but this month was special because of Fashion Week. I was invited to do makeup for Chris Benz and Michael Kors. It was an amazing experience, I met new friends and amazing people, learned new techniques and of course, I'll def revisit this event. Thank you Lancome for the opportunity. Sorry for the low quality camera, I know it's not up to par to my usual camera, but I needed something more portable =) I also wanted to show you my top 3 favorite spots to eat in NYC. Quick dining that's delicious and of course, inexpensive. Music is from Late Night Alumni Beck Jean William is the singer "You Can Be The One" http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZ... The beautiful lipstick shade is from Lancome's limited edition upcoming shade "Chris & Tell" Chris Benz Show makeup was provided by Lancome Michael Kors makeup was provided by Shiseido FOOD I always love to find new places to eat, so of course, I've tried just about as many resturants as I possibly good. I'll include more to my list, but I wanted to keep it simple. ALL IN Manhattan Ray's - The best pizza you'll ever had. I've had it all, and Ray's is the best. Remember, there is ONLY ONE Ray's. The rest are fake. Example - Original Rays, Famous Rays, etc. The only REAL Ray's is located on 27 Prince St, New York, NY 10012 Order the Cheese pizza. Plain...that is all you need. Cafe Habana - The best grilled corn. Mexican style. Cheese, butter with spice. It's amazing, people from all over the world come here to taste the amazing corn. You'll be a cornhead like me. They're two locations, but I go to this one more often. If you go to the one on Prince St. ask for Monica. She's the one who called me a cornhead, she's really cool and will make you feel like you're at home! Oh and for all the fellers, the girls who work here are BEAUTIFUL. Model looking :) 17 Prince St, New York, NY Order the steak too, it's yummy! Joe Shanghai - For the BEST Soup dumplings. Now, I get a lot of people telling me it's overrated, and they're better soup dumplings. If so, let me know which one so I can visit next time. But for the time being, Joe Shanghai is my king for the best soup dumplings. They have an amazing scallion pancake. Order the pork and crabmeat soup dumpings, if you can't eat shell fish, opt for the pork one instead. 9 Pell St, New York, NY 10013

Michael Jackson Fashion Halloween

Happy Birthday Michael! August 29th. My best friend's clothing site! Check it out for hot fashion for men and women! http://www.twinarmada.com/ This tutorial will give you some ideas on how to vamp up your wardrobe using Michael's style. His music was iconic, but so was his fashion sense. We miss you! I spent over a week looking for all the right pieces. I spent a lot of time prepping for this video, but I loved every second of it. I really tried my best to get all the outfits, but because of the limited time and his birthday rolling around the corner, I had to make quick decisions like using tape on the Thriller jacket and using the necklace on the military blazer. Please excuse the fact that it's not perfect! All music is from Michael Jackson. I own no copyrights to any of these songs. For the thriller red jacket, I used black electrical tape on it to create the "Thriller" jacket look. If you can't buy the original jacket, you can make it like I did! . A lot of people asked, but this entire collection cost me around $1,000.00. I flew to NYC just to get a few items like the H&M jacket. I left out a few items, but you are seeing the most key outfits! All the clothes are from The Military Jacket- H&M The Military Vest- Parasuco Black Leather Jacket - Forever 21 Red Leather Jacket - Charlotte Russe Gold Leggings - Wet Seal Gold Necklace - Target White V Neck - Target White Dress Shirt - Rue 21 Black Fitted Blazer- Goodwill Boy Size Blazer White Boy Size Suit - Syms Red Jeans - Pacsun Red Bomber Jacket - Forever 21 Blue Tee - Pacsun Black Fedora Hat - Ebay White Fedora Hat - Spencers Gift Shop Sequins Gloves - Ebay Fingerless Studded Gloves - Claires I Love MJ Tee - Rue 21 or Charlotte Russe Black Boots - Christian Louboutin Forgot to link this to my previous video, but a newspaper and video article on me =D http://www.tampabay.com/features/humaninterest/michelle-phan-a-youtube-sensation-for-her-makeup-tutorials-has-transformed/1029747 Follow me on Twitter http://www.Twitter.com/RiceBunny

Legalizing Graffiti: VC2

The DC government spent nearly $800,000 removing graffiti in 2007, but this year there's $100,000 in the city budget to HELP graffiti artists produce murals - legally. The city is embracing some young DC artists in hopes of curbing illegal graffiti-- but do graffiti artists want to be part of the establishment?

OIL PASTEL DEMO MARSH LANDSCAPE - GARY GARRETT PAINTING

This one is an 11x14 Oil Pastel drawing using Cray-Pas, Mungyo, and Loew Cornell oil pastels on Canson acid free paper #501 "Tobacco" color paper. This drawing was made from sketches made last summer around St. Augustine's marshlands off the intracoastal waterway south of the fort, and north of Matanzas. It was a nice change of pace from my other recent paintings. I use a technique that layers color on color, then smeared together... usually I would use a paper shading taper (tortillon) to smear it... but not having any right now, i had to use my "built-in" smear stick (my finger) LOL. It was fun to do a pastel again. Hope you like it. It was time-lapsed using a Sony TRV25 in INTERVAL mode (1/2 second every 30 seconds). If you do like it, please leave me a comment, and/or rate it by clicking on a star. the feedback has been great in letting me know what you want to see, or know, things that I may be able to help with. THANKS FOR WATCHING... KEEP PAINTING!
